Welcome to My World of Nature and Photography

My name is Kurt Parkstad, and I live in Lommedalen, just outside Oslo. I’ve worked with photography for many years – always driven and inspired by nature. For me, photography is about presence, observation, and patience. Nature continuously offers new stories, and I try to capture those moments as they are – honest and unfiltered. I hope my images and books can offer a sense of calm, reflection, and wonder.

This website is a personal showcase for my photographic work, where nature is both subject and inspiration. Through my images, I aim to share the serenity, strength, mystery, and beauty of the natural world – and to spark curiosity, reflection, and respect for the landscapes we often take for granted.
